What a cool spot if you’re in the Sapphire area. Lovely decor, great porch and good food! The bar is a great place to hang out and meet some locals too.
The Digs:
Absolutely Gorgeous! They have gone out of their way to make this place beautiful. I happened to be there for Christmas which I’m sure made it even more magical. They had lovely music playing and the whole place was lit up! They also have a huge fireplace outside with blankets at each table if you want to enjoy a beverage by the fire.
The Grub:
The food was good! I had the Salmon Piccata and risotto. The risotto was some of the best I’ve had and I tend to be pretty picky about risotto. Salmon was cooked nicely and had a great taste.
My only real complaint about the menu here is the wine. I didn’t think they had great choices, but I’m sure you could bring your own for a corking fee if it really bothered you.
The Service:
Great service. Our guy was kind of new so he had to go ask for a few answers, but at least he asked and didn’t just make something up! He was super nice and prompt.
The Scratch (Per Person):
61+ (if you have a couple drinks)
The Duds:
They’ll take you however, but most dress up a little. I wore a nice pair of jeans with a long sweater and nice shoes. My husband wore jeans with a nice sweater and dress shoes as well.
Take Note:
This place is in the same building as a gas station, but you don’t have a door between the two. Oddly, also, the entrance for this restaurant is at the back, so walk all the way around the porch to find back door.
