Easy to get to stop off the highway. Great beer in a large beer hall, but walk around the side and find an outdoor area worth an afternoon stay.

12 Old Charlotte Hwy #200, Asheville, NC 28803

The Digs:

There is a large inside area with a stage and a walk-up bar (with a queue). Lots of tables inside as well as a few comfy chairs. Outside there is a small patio, but if you walk down the sidewalk around to the side of the building, there is a huge park-like area with picnic tables, music playing, an outdoor bar, and a large area of sand volleyball courts.

If you’re a disc golf person, they have a pretty nice course here as well!  We saw several people playing on the Sunday afternoon we were there.

There is a large parking lot but I could see it filling up fast. I am not sure about overflow on busy days but I would assume for a place this large, they have a plan for that.

There are small bathrooms inside but outside they have large trailers with bathrooms, so if inside is full, there are plenty of other options.

The Grub:

Just here for a couple beers. They were delish, especially in the sun at a picnic table with nice music in the background.

The Service:

Quick and friendly. They are pros at getting people in and out for sure.

The Scratch (Per Person):

$0-$15

The Duds:

Casual. Take your shoes off outside and enjoy some nature!

Take Note:

Bring a table cloth if you want to hang outside. The tables are a bit messy/worn.
