If you’re looking for a hip, local hangout with a great selection of beers and some yummy bar food, this is a great place to check out!
The Digs:
This is a small restaurant inside of a strip mall. You can order takeout at the counter, or sit down anywhere and they will take your order. The dining room definitely needs some renovations. The seats are uncomfortable and ripping in places. The carpet creates a smell in the room. They don’t play music, so it’s oddly quiet. They also do a lot of carryout, so if you’re worried about the temperature in the restaurant, I do not recommend sitting by the door as it will be opening and closing a lot. That being said…
The Grub:
I think this is the best Asian food in Locust. The meals are always super fresh and they offer a good selection. I think their fried entrees are fried perfectly, not super greasy and a generous covering of sauce. I usually get Sa-Cha Shrimp, which are quite a nice size.
The Service:
I wouldn’t want to mislead you to expect a great experience when being waited on. It seems that most of their orders are carry out and the staff are focused on serving people coming in to pick up their food. The food will come out, nicely plated, in a reasonable amount of time, but your drink might get quite low before they notice you need a refill. You may want to consider take-out as well…

Plenty of parking! I’ve also noticed sometimes it looks closed when it probably isn’t.
They do have 2 tables outside if you choose to sit out on the sidewalk.
