The Digs:
Every time I walked by this place, it looked closed. So, just give the door a try if you’re not sure. Inside is beautiful with lots of plants. The back area is like a lovely garden with a bar and lots of seating. I highly recommend it on a nice day. The bathrooms are really pretty too! Single rooms with wallpaper and plants!
The Grub:
I tried the sausage plate, the pretzel, and the brussels sprouts. Everything was great but the pretzel was the star of the show. It was probably the best pretzel I’ve ever had! Great taste, nice and soft inside with a crispy outside. The mustard with it was super spicy and yummy too.
There was a different mustard sauce and a ketchup-y sauce served with the sausage plate. I liked both sauces and the sausages were very good, each having its own unique flavor. I tried to go back a second day to get this same meal again but they were closed on Monday.
The Service:
Our server was fantastic. He knew all sorts of things about the wines we were drinking and had great suggestions for beers too. We were quite impressed with his knowledge. He was also on top of things and made sure we always had what we needed. It was a great experience.
