This will be a must stop, without a question, every time I’m in Wilmington. Amazing flavors, great service, top notch food! Just go!

The Digs:
This is a small, unassuming restaurant, a bit off the side streets of Wilmington. There aren’t but maybe 12 tables so making a reservation is going to be important. Nice bright colors and art accompany the fun menu.

The Grub:
I ordered the Carne Con Ancho and it was my most favorite meal of the entire year, hands down. It sounds like a strange mixture of foods including an ancho balsamic bbq sauce and a horseradish crema, but ohhh it is so good. I would have totally gone back the next day to eat the same exact meal again if I was staying another day.

I also got plantains to go with, because if there are plantains on the menu, I can’t pass them up. They were cooked wonderfully as well.

The Drunken pineapple for dessert was pretty good. Its flavors didn’t top the meal, but it was tasty.

The Service:
It seemed like the entire staff waited on us, everyone helping out as needed, but our main server was super sweet. We had a great chat with her. We always had what we needed and really enjoyed our experience here.
